Our Musical Director: Marian Siminski

Returning for her 18th season, Lakeshore Light Opera is pleased to welcome Marian Siminski as our Musical Director. Marian, a prize-winning pianist and vocalist, is a graduate of Marianopolis College, Montreal, and the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto.  In addition to her work with Lakeshore Light Opera, she has performed with the Montreal West Operatic Society, Opera Midi and in various concerts and recitals. She has directed Fiddler on the Roof, Oliver, Fame, The Boyfriend, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cinderella, West Side Story, and Bye, Bye Birdie for KIA, Riverdale High School and Beth Tikvah Youth Productions.

During the summer, Marian is on staff in the Children’s Program at the CAMMAC Music Centre in the Laurentians and for the Montreal Suzuki Piano Institute. She is the musical director/organist at Cedar Park United Church, Pointe Claire,  singer/organist at St. Edmund’s, Beaconsfield, and singer/organist at St. Joachim, Pointe Claire. She also gives private instruction in voice and piano.
