Our Stage Director: Corey Castle

Lakeshore Light Opera is pleased to welcome Corey Castle as our new director for the upcoming production of "The Gondoliers". Corey's resumé and experience is quite extensive. He has directed numerous productions in and around Montreal including: "Into the Woods" (Concordia University); all the Bowser and Blue shows at the Centaur; "Cabaret" (Lac Brome and Centaur); "The Old Maid and the Thief" (Opera Midi); "Heart and Music", "Hello Dolly", "Guys and Dolls" (Lyric Theatre); and "Noises Off" (Queen Mary Theatre). For Geordie Productions, he directed the hit children's revues "From You to Us to You" (1, 2, and 3) which were presented at the Edmonton Fringe Festival, the National Arts Center and which toured extensively throughout Quebec and Southeastern Ontario. He has taught acting at Concordia University and musical theatre workshops at McGill University and John Abbott College. More recently, Corey has directed the last four productions with the Montreal-West Operatic Society.
